Social Justice
At Our Lady of Hope, we strive to display our faith in action by having a strong commitment to social justice initiatives.
As a school, we have a strong focus on helping to improve the well-being of others in our community and at large.
We have a committed Social Justice group consisting of volunteers who meet regularly to discuss ways to help those in need. They frequently find innovative and fun ways to involve the whole school, particularly with fundraising events for those less fortunate than ourselves.
The Social Justice group often visit the local Residential Care facility to spend time with the elderly residents and help brighten their day. It is a pleasure to see the faces of the residents light up when the students visit and perform for them.
Engaging in social justice activities in our school is crucial to help students grow and prosper into well-rounded individuals and outstanding student leaders.
